Barcelona Reach 26 Goals as Lamine Yamal Shines and Xavi Espart Scores First Goal

Barcelona continued their incredible start to the 2026/27 campaign with a 4-2 victory over Levante, taking their tally to 26 goals in just six games across all competitions.

Lamine Yamal was once again the star of the show, scoring twice, while Raphinha provided two assists.

Xavi Espart also celebrated a special milestone by scoring his first senior goal for Barcelona, before Karim Adeyemi sealed the victory in stoppage time.

Espart gave Barcelona the perfect start after just five minutes at the Ciutat de València.

The 19 year old La Masia product found space around the edge of the box and fired home to open his account for the first team.

The youngster celebrated by kissing the Barcelona badge, a moment that highlighted what the goal meant to him.

Yamal then doubled Barcelona's advantage in the 19th minute after Raphinha created the opening, before the teenager converted a penalty shortly after half time to complete his brace.

The second goal marked another impressive milestone for Yamal, who has now scored three LaLiga braces in his first five league matches of the season.

Barcelona looked to be cruising at 3-0, but Levante refused to disappear quietly.

Iván Romero pulled one back in the 79th minute after an error from Espart, before Roger Brugué made it 3-2 nine minutes later.

For a few minutes, Barcelona's comfortable evening suddenly became a real test.

Adeyemi eventually ended the drama in the third minute of added time, producing a composed finish to make it 4-2 and secure Barcelona's sixth consecutive victory in all competitions.

The result keeps Hansi Flick's side perfect in LaLiga after five matches, with 15 points from 15 available and three points separating them from Real Madrid at the top.

More importantly, Barcelona have now scored 26 goals in six games, an average of more than four goals per match.

With Yamal continuing to produce, Raphinha creating chances and another La Masia youngster making his mark, Barcelona's attack is showing few signs of slowing down.
