Michael Olise Hits Hat-Trick as Bayern Crush Union Berlin 7-0

Michael Olise produced the standout individual performance as Bayern Munich dismantled Union Berlin 7-0, scoring a hat-trick and helping Harry Kane reach another Bundesliga milestone.

The French winger was named Man of the Match and took home the match ball after tormenting Union's defence throughout Friday's game at the Allianz Arena.

Olise's first goal arrived shortly before half-time, when he cut inside and curled a left footed effort into the top corner.

After the break, he added two more goals in three minutes to complete his first hat-trick of the night.

His final goal came in the 76th minute, bringing an emphatic end to a performance that had already included an assist for Kane's second goal.

Bayern's official match report confirmed the 7-0 scoreline and Olise's three goals.

Olise continues remarkable start

The hat-trick takes Olise to 11 goal contributions in seven games across all competitions this season, according to the figures reported around the match, with eight goals and three assists.

That means the 24 year old has produced more goal contributions than appearances during Bayern's early season campaign.

His latest display also shows how influential he has become in Bayern's attack.

Olise repeatedly moved inside from the right, created problems between the lines and finished the chances that came his way.

Bayern did not need to rely solely on Olise, however. Jamal Musiala opened the scoring in the 18th minute before Kane converted a penalty in the 39th.

Olise then made it 3-0 before half-time.

Kane added his second after the break, Ismael Saibari scored Bayern's fifth, and Olise completed his hat-trick with goals in the 73rd and 76th minutes.

Kane makes Bundesliga history

While Olise was collecting the match ball, Kane was writing his own chapter in Bundesliga history.

The England striker's first goal of the night was his 100th Bundesliga goal, achieved in just 98 appearances. That made him the fastest player ever to reach a century of goals in the competition.

Kane then added another goal in the 54th minute, finishing the night with 101 Bundesliga goals.

It was therefore a remarkable evening for Bayern; a seven goal victory, a hat-trick for Olise and another record for Kane.

For Olise, though, the biggest takeaway was his growing influence. A Man of the Match award, a hat-trick, an assist, and the match ball made him one of the central figures in Bayern's latest attacking statement.
