Dominik Livaković has arrived in Barcelona as he prepares to complete his move from Fenerbahçe to Barcelona.
The Croatian goalkeeper is expected to sign a four-year contract with Barça, keeping him at the club until June 2030.
His arrival comes after Barcelona reached an agreement with Fenerbahçe for his transfer.
Livaković's arrival marks the latest step in a transfer that has moved quickly in recent days.
Barcelona had initially planned to sign the goalkeeper for the future, potentially sending him out on loan before bringing him into the first team setup.
However, the club has now accelerated the operation and is planning for Livaković to join the squad immediately.
Reports indicate that he is expected to compete with Joan García for the starting role, while Wojciech Szczęsny will move further down the goalkeeper hierarchy.
Livaković Set for Four-Year Barcelona Contract
The 31 year old goalkeeper is set to put pen to paper on a contract running until June 2030.
Barcelona's agreement with Fenerbahçe is understood to be worth €2 million plus variables, with earlier reports putting the potential total at around €4 million.
Livaković brings significant experience to Hansi Flick's squad, having represented Croatia at major international tournaments and previously played for Dinamo Zagreb, Girona and Fenerbahçe.
His arrival also gives Barcelona greater depth and competition in goal as the club plans for the future.
From Future Signing to Immediate Addition
The initial plan was for Livaković to become Barcelona's backup goalkeeper from June 2027, when Szczęsny's contract was expected to expire.
That plan has since changed.
Barcelona have decided to bring the Croatian into the squad earlier, making him an immediate part of Flick's goalkeeping options.
With Livaković now in Barcelona, the remaining formalities are expected to be completed before the club officially announces the signing.
