Dominik Livaković Set for Barcelona Medical as Contract Until 2030 Awaits

Dominik Livaković is set to undergo his medical with Barcelona tomorrow as he moves closer to officially becoming a new Barça player.

The Croatia international has already reached an agreement with Barcelona, with the club completing the necessary documentation for his transfer from Fenerbahçe.

Recent reports also confirm that the goalkeeper is expected to sign a four-year contract running until June 2030.

Livaković's medical represents the next major step before his arrival can be formally completed.

Barcelona Secure Livaković From Fenerbahçe

Barcelona have agreed a deal worth €2 million in fixed fees plus a further €2 million in potential add-ons for the 31-year-old goalkeeper.

The initial plan was for Livaković to be signed now and potentially sent out on loan, with Barcelona originally targeting him as a future backup goalkeeper once Wojciech Szczęsny's contract expires in June 2027.

However, that plan has reportedly changed.

Barcelona are now considering integrating Livaković into Hansi Flick's squad immediately, where he would provide competition and experience behind Joan García.

Medical Scheduled for Tomorrow

Livaković is expected to complete his medical examinations tomorrow before putting pen to paper on his long-term Barcelona contract.

The Croatian goalkeeper brings considerable experience to the squad, having established himself as a key player for Croatia and previously starring for Dinamo Zagreb before his move to Fenerbahçe.

Barcelona's decision to secure him also gives the club greater certainty in their goalkeeping department as they plan for the future beyond Szczęsny.

For now, the next step is straightforward... Livaković must complete his medical before his Barcelona move can be fully formalised.
